Sisters Empowering Sisters is an amazing initiative of Girl's Best Friend Foundation. SES teaches girls and young women about grant-making and empowers them to make decisions about which proposals they should invest in. The proposals they consider are sent in by Chicago-area girls groups. The projects must be the participants' ideas (not adults) and the proposals must be written by the girls themselves. Sisters Empowering Sisters invested $1,100 in This Is ME Playback for 2002.
